Hotel SEO Services That Bring Travelers to Your Own Website
Hotel SEO services get your hotel's own website found when travelers search for a place to stay, plan a trip to your town or ask an AI assistant where to book. SeoVision does that work for you: we research what travelers search about your destination, publish 30 articles a month on your site, fix technical problems after your OK, earn links from real businesses and track what AI assistants recommend. It costs $149 a month per site, with no contract. We do not connect your booking engine or channel manager, and we do not manage your listings on booking sites.

How travelers search
How customers find hotels on Google and in AI
A traveler rarely starts with a hotel's name. They start with the trip: โthings to do in Asheville in the fallโ, โwhere to stay near Zion National Parkโ, โbest area to stay in Nashville for a weekendโ. Then the search narrows to the kind of stay they want, like โpet friendly hotel downtownโ, โhotel with a pool near the convention centerโ or โquiet inn for a wedding weekendโ.
For many of those searches Google shows its own hotel listings, with prices and booking links, above the regular results. Those listings are fed by your Business Profile and your booking partners, not by articles on your site. Below them come travel guides, booking sites and, more and more, an AI Overview that sums up the area.
That middle ground is where a hotel's own website can win: the questions travelers ask while they plan, answered by the people who know the place best. A guest who found your guide to the town, liked it and saw your rooms on the next page has a reason to book with you directly.
What's included
What our hotel SEO services include
Everything an independent hotel, inn or resort needs from search, done while your team looks after guests.
Research on what travelers search
Destination, stay type, event and season searches around your location, and the keywords nearby hotels and travel sites rank for that you do not.
30 articles a month
One a day, written for travelers: what to do nearby, when to visit, how to get around and which kind of stay fits which trip. Each one links to your rooms, your packages or your event pages.
Pages for what you sell
When travelers search for something you offer, like a wedding venue or meeting space, and no page of yours answers, we can write that page on WordPress through our plugin or on Shopify, inside your monthly article count.
Your site, fixed
Empty titles and descriptions filled, broken addresses redirected, your sitemap switched on and business markup with your hotel's name, address and phone. You approve each batch, a backup comes first and any fix can be undone. On WordPress, Shopify and custom sites connected through our receiver we write the fixes on your site ourselves. On other platforms you get every fix ready to paste, with the exact steps.
Links from real businesses
90 credits a month in our backlink exchange, matched to your field and country first and never paired with a competitor you track. Our rules are in backlink safety.
A person on your account
A dedicated account manager and priority 24/7 support. Every request through Help gets a ticket number and a reply from our team.
Direct bookings
Booking sites, your booking engine and what we connect
Most hotels sell rooms through two doors: their own website with a booking engine, and the big booking sites that charge a commission. Hotel SEO cannot shut the second door, and it should not try. What it can do is make your own website worth finding, so more travelers who are already planning a trip reach your rooms without a middleman.
We do not connect your booking engine, your channel manager or your property management system, and we do not manage your listings, rates or photos on booking sites. Your booking button stays exactly where it is. Our work happens on your site's articles, pages and technical health.
That also shapes what you can measure. With Google Analytics connected, our Analytics page shows the key events you track, by channel and page, and the weekly letter counts the enquiries that started on our articles. Google Analytics' sales events, such as a completed purchase, are not counted as enquiries, and we never see a reservation ourselves. Search Console shows the searches that bring travelers in.
Once a month we also look at what Google shows when someone searches your hotel's name with โreviewsโ. The Monthly Report shows which results are your own, which other sites carry your name and which may be negative, so you know what a guest reads before they book.
Example
Example content plan for hotels
An illustration for a made-up boutique hotel in a mountain town with an event barn. Your plan comes from your own keyword research, your rooms, your events and your destination.
| Week | Article | The search behind it | Why it is in the plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | The best time to visit, month by month | best time to visit [your town] | Travelers decide when to go before they decide where to stay |
| 1 | Where to stay in town: the neighborhoods compared | where to stay in [your town] | A planning search that ends with a choice of hotel |
| 2 | Ten things to do within a short drive | things to do near [your town] | Brings trip planners to your site weeks before they book |
| 2 | Planning a mountain wedding: a timeline for couples | mountain wedding venue | Points readers to your event page |
| 3 | Do you need travel insurance for a ski trip? | travel insurance for ski trip | Insurance is a money topic, so it gets the rules below |
| 4 | Fall foliage drives and when the colors peak | fall foliage [your region] | Leaf peepers plan months ahead, so the article does too |
A real month holds 30 articles. A seasonal search, like fall colors, ski season or a summer festival, goes on your calendar in the three months before its peak or in the peak month, so the article is live while travelers plan.
Careful topics
Your hotel's facts, and travel topics that need care
Travelers trust a hotel's own site to be right about the hotel. So an article never claims an award, a rating, a founding year or anything else about your business that your facts do not hold. Your business facts are read from your own site or given by you, never guessed, and your word beats the site. Where an article needs a detail you have not given, it is written in general terms.
Some travel questions touch the law or money. An article whose search names a visa follows our stricter rules for legal topics, and one that names travel insurance follows our money rules: careful facts credited to the kind of source behind them, general guidance only and one note to check with a qualified professional. Our writer is also barred from urgency like โonly 3 leftโ and from calling your hotel โthe best in townโ unless a named source says so. Every finished article is checked for those claims and rewritten once if one slips through.
Articles are written in your site's main language. A second language on the same site does not publish yet. If many guests come from another country that speaks your language, such as Canada or the United Kingdom, our team can add it as an extra market on request, and its searches join your research.
Local SEO
Local SEO for hotels
Your Google Business Profile, with your photos, amenities, location and reviews, carries a lot of weight in hotel searches, and it stays yours. After you connect it, the dashboard shows the profile's views, calls, direction requests, website clicks and reviews. Guests review hotels in many languages, and a reply you draft in the dashboard comes in the review's own language. You edit it and publish it on Google yourself. We do not edit your profile, post on it or answer reviews for you, and nobody can promise a hotel a place in the map pack or in Google's hotel listings.
On your website, when your business field names a hotel, resort, hostel or lodging, the business markup describes you as a lodging business, with your name, address and phone. A page we write on WordPress or Shopify carries local business markup when your facts hold your address and its town. A town gets its own article only where your hotel has three local facts there, such as its street address, its hours and a review that names the town, so a single hotel can get one for its own town, not one for every town nearby. Our local SEO services page explains these rules in full.
The Local Citations add-on lists your hotel in 15, 30, 50 or 100 directories picked for your country and category, for $144 to $960, paid once, with a report of every live listing.
AI assistants
How hotels get recommended by AI assistants
Travelers now ask ChatGPT or Google's AI Mode to plan a weekend, suggest a quiet hotel near a trailhead or compare two parts of town. The answers lean on travel guides, review sites, booking sites and pages that answer the question plainly, and they name hotels that show up across those sources.
Our articles open with a direct answer, take their FAQ questions from what Google really shows and come with an llms.txt summary of your site for AI assistants. Every week we ask 70 questions travelers ask in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, and you see which answers name your hotel, which hotels are named instead and which pages the answers cite. More on AI visibility tracking.
Who does the work
A hospitality SEO agency for your own website
Many hospitality marketing firms sell a bundle: booking engine setup, metasearch campaigns, rate management, social media and some SEO. That can suit a hotel that wants one firm for everything. We are a hospitality SEO agency with a narrower job: your own website's search work, done every day, at one price.
Our system runs the research, the writing, the publishing and the weekly site scan, and our team checks every paying project each morning. You get a dedicated account manager and priority 24/7 support. We are a remote team, so we do not visit the property, and you can read every article in your dashboard as it goes live.
Hotels with a restaurant open to the public can read our page on restaurant SEO services as well, because diners search differently from travelers.
Who it's for
Who our hotel SEO services fit best
We fit a hotel best when most of these are true:
- You run an independent hotel, inn, resort or small group, not a brand whose website is run by a chain
- Travelers search for your destination, but your own site rarely shows up
- Nobody on your team has time to write about the area every week
- You keep your booking engine, rates and booking site listings as they are
- Your site runs on WordPress, Wix, Webflow, Shopify or another platform we publish to
- You run more than one property's site and want 10% off every site once you have two
Pricing
What hotel SEO services cost
Hospitality marketing is often priced as a bundle. We charge $149 a month per site, with no contract and no commission on bookings. Compare it with other SEO packages.

What we do not do for hotels
We do not connect booking engines, channel managers or property management systems, and we do not manage your listings, rates or photos on booking sites or metasearch. We do not count bookings or promise occupancy, bookings or revenue. Paid ads, website builds and ranking promises are not part of our plan.
Your Google Business Profile and your reviews stay with you, and we cannot place a hotel in the map pack or Google's hotel listings. Our rules for visa and insurance topics are writing rules, not a review by a lawyer or an insurance professional. We do not work with casinos or other gambling businesses. We are a remote team with no office near your property.
Questions
Hotel SEO: frequently asked questions
What is SEO in hospitality?
It is the work that makes a hotel, resort or other hospitality business show up when travelers search for a place to stay or a trip to plan. It covers research of those searches, useful pages and articles, a healthy website and links from other sites. For a hotel, much of it is answering destination questions on its own site.
How much does an agency charge for SEO?
Ahrefs' survey of 439 SEO providers found the most common monthly retainer at $501 to $1,000, with agencies across all fields averaging about $3,200 a month. Ask what the fee covers, because some hospitality firms bundle booking engine and metasearch work and others only the website.
What does hotel SEO cost per month?
SeoVision's hotel SEO services cost $149 a month per site, with research, 30 articles, site fixes, backlinks and AI answer tracking included and no commission on bookings. For comparison, SE Ranking and Duda's 2025 survey of 260 agencies puts the most common retainer at $500 to $1,000 a month.
How long until hotel SEO shows results?
The first articles go live and are checked for indexing in the first weeks. Impressions usually come first on narrow destination searches, like one attraction or one season in your town, over the next months. Broad searches like a city name plus โhotelโ are dominated by booking sites and take longest, and nobody can promise a position by a date.
What is included in hotel SEO?
Keyword research for your destination and your guests, 30 articles a month, pages for what you sell where your platform takes them, technical fixes after your OK, links from our exchange, weekly AI answer checks, up to 5 full audits a month and your own account manager. Booking engine and booking site work are not included.
Can AI tools replace hotel SEO?
Not on their own. A chatbot can draft a guide to your town, but someone still has to pick the searches with real demand, check the facts about your hotel, publish it, confirm Google indexes it and earn links to it. AI writes the draft, and we take care of everything else.
Do you manage our listings on booking sites?
No. Your listings, rates and photos on booking sites stay with you or your revenue team, and so do your booking engine and channel manager. We work on your own website, so more of the travelers who plan with us end up on your rooms page.
