SEO Packages: One Plan That Covers Everything
SEO packages are fixed-price bundles of SEO work, usually sold every month in tiers that differ mainly in how much work gets done. SeoVision sells one package per site with all the work included: research, 30 articles a month, technical fixes, backlinks and AI visibility tracking, for $149 a month. You add more only when you want more, and every site costs less from the second one.

The basics
What SEO packages are, and the types you will see
An SEO package is a set amount of SEO work for a set price. Most SEO service packages are sold by the month, because search results build up over months, and the fixed price SEO packages you see advertised are usually monthly plans with a written list of what ships.
Which type you need depends on how you sell. A business that serves one town mostly needs local work and a site that answers local questions. An online store needs product and category pages that search engines and AI shopping assistants understand. Most businesses need the monthly work underneath either way, because pages, fixes and links are what every other type builds on. Our plan covers that monthly work for every kind of site, and local citations and directory listings are add-ons.
Packages come in a few common types, and many providers sell several of them side by side:
- Monthly SEO packages: ongoing research, content, fixes and links. The most common type, and the one we sell.
- Local SEO packages: Google Business Profile work, local citations and pages for the areas a business serves. See SEO for small business for what we do locally.
- Ecommerce SEO packages: product and category content, product markup and shopping feeds. See ecommerce SEO services.
- Audit packages: a one-time review of a site that ends in a report. Ours starts with a free SEO audit.
- Link building and content packages: a set number of links or articles each month, bought on their own.
Market prices
How much SEO packages cost in 2026
Three independent surveys of SEO providers show what businesses pay. These are the figures, each with its source. For the full guide, read how much SEO costs.
| What you buy | Typical price | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly retainer, most common | $501 to $1,000 a month | Ahrefs, 439 SEO providers |
| Monthly retainer, most common | $500 to $1,000 a month | SE Ranking and Duda, 260 agencies, 2025 |
| Agencies charging under $1,000 a month | 64% of agencies | SE Ranking and Duda, 2025 |
| Average monthly SEO cost | $1,000 to $2,500 | Backlinko, 2025 |
| Agency retainer, average | About $3,200 a month | Ahrefs |
| Hourly rate, most common | $100 to $150 an hour | Ahrefs |
| One-time project, most common | $2,501 to $5,000 | Ahrefs |
| SEO software suites | About $130 to $500 a month | Public list prices |
About 78% of the providers in Ahrefs' survey charge monthly retainers. Prices vary with the provider, the market and how much work is included.
What to look for
What a full SEO package should include
A low price is not the problem: our plan costs less than the most common retainer in these surveys. The problem with many cheap SEO plans is a low price that buys a report instead of work. Whatever you pay, check that the package includes:
- Content written and published on your site, not only planned
- Technical fixes made on your site, not only listed in a report
- Links from real, relevant sites, never link farms or private blog networks
- A plan built on keyword research for your own market
- Tracking of how AI assistants mention your brand
- Reports from your own Search Console and analytics data
- A person you can reach when something breaks
- No long contract that locks you in
- No promise of rankings, which nobody can make
Tiers or one plan
Tiered SEO packages vs one plan
Most SEO company packages come in tiers, often named Basic, Standard and Premium. We sell one plan. This is how the two approaches differ.
| Typical tiered packages | SeoVision's one plan | |
|---|---|---|
| Articles each month | A few in the low tier, more in the higher ones | 30 on every site |
| Backlinks | Often only in the higher tiers | 90 exchange credits a month, included |
| Technical fixes | Often a report in the low tier | Written on your site after your OK on WordPress, Shopify and custom sites, ready to paste on other platforms |
| AI answers tracking | Rarely included | 70 prompts every week |
| Choosing | You guess which tier you need | One plan, then add what you need |
| Growing | Move up a whole tier | Add one extra, like +30 articles for $80 a month |
| Contract | Often 6 to 12 months | None, cancel in one click |
Tiered packages differ from one provider to the next, so compare each one's monthly deliverables in writing.
Compare packages
How to compare SEO packages side by side
Package names say little, and two packages at the same price can hold very different work. Put the same eight questions to every provider and compare the answers line by line. Here is what a clear answer looks like, and ours.
| Ask every provider | A clear answer | Our answer |
|---|---|---|
| How many articles go live each month? | A number, published on your site | 30 a month, one a day, on your site |
| Who publishes them? | They do, on your platform | We do, live or as drafts for you to review |
| Are technical problems fixed or only listed? | Fixed on your site, with your approval | Fixed after your OK on WordPress, Shopify and custom sites, ready to paste on other platforms |
| Where do the links come from? | Named, real sites you can open | Every link in your dashboard, with its site, day and article |
| Do you track AI answers? | Named assistants and the questions asked | 70 prompts every week, with the competitors named and the sources cited |
| Whose data are the reports built on? | Your own Search Console and analytics | Search Console, Google Analytics and Merchant Center in your dashboard |
| Who do I talk to? | A named person | A dedicated account manager and priority 24/7 support |
| How long is the contract? | Monthly, with a clear way to cancel | None, cancel in one click in Billing |
A provider that cannot answer one of these in a sentence is telling you something about the package.

How to choose
How to choose the right SEO package for your business
Before you buy an SEO package from anyone, us included, walk through these four steps.
- 1
Start from your goal
More visitors from Google, more calls from local searches, more orders or being named by AI assistants. The goal decides which work matters most.
- 2
Count the work, not the tier name
How many articles go live each month, which fixes get made on your site, how many links and from where. Vague answers mean vague work.
- 3
Check how you see it
A dashboard you can open any day beats a report once a month. Ask whether you see the work as it happens, in your own data.
- 4
Start small, then add
Start with one site and the base plan. If you need more of one thing, add it later. New customers can try us for 3 days for $1.
Why we sell one package instead of three
Tiered packages often save the work that moves results, such as links or more content, for the higher tiers. We would rather give every site the full job and let you add more of one thing when you need it. So there is one plan, one price per site and a short list of extras.
The plan does not include website builds, management of your Google Business Profile or reviews, or any promise of rankings. Nobody can promise rankings, and you should be careful with a package that does.
Questions
SEO packages: frequently asked questions
What are SEO packages?
An SEO package is a set of SEO work sold at a fixed price, usually every month: research, content, technical fixes, links and reporting in agreed amounts. Many providers sell several tiers. We sell one package with everything included.
What do SEO services include?
Keyword research, content that answers what buyers search, technical fixes, link building and reporting, and today tracking of AI answers too. Our plan includes all of them, plus up to 5 full audits a month and a dedicated account manager.
How much do SEO packages cost per month?
Surveys put the most common monthly retainer at $500 to $1,000, Backlinko's 2025 survey puts the average at $1,000 to $2,500, and agencies average about $3,200 according to Ahrefs. Our package is $149 a month per site, and less per site from 2 sites.
What are the best monthly SEO packages?
The best one publishes real work on your site every month at a price you can keep paying. Compare packages on what ships, who does the work, where links come from and the contract, not on the tier names.
Do you offer custom SEO packages?
You build your own on top of the plan: +30 articles for $80 a month, +100 backlink credits for $80, +70 AI prompts for $80 or +5 audits for $20, plus one-time add-ons like press releases. When your case needs something the product does not do yet, we build custom features on request.
What is a Google SEO package?
Usually it means SEO work aimed at Google search: content, technical fixes and links. Ours covers Google search and the AI answers too, including Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode, ChatGPT and Perplexity.
What is mobile SEO?
Mobile SEO makes your site work well for people searching on phones. Google looks at the mobile version of your pages when it ranks them, so a slow or broken mobile layout hurts. Your theme and hosting control the layout and speed, so for those we give you the exact steps, and we handle the rest of the SEO work.
Is there a contract or a trial?
No contract. You pay $149 a month per site and cancel in one click in Billing, and nothing is charged after you cancel. New customers can start with a 3-day trial for $1 on one site.
