Do You Need an Enterprise SEO Consultant? An Honest Answer

An enterprise SEO consultant is a senior specialist who runs search strategy for a large organization: a site with tens of thousands of pages, many countries and languages, several teams and a long approval chain. SeoVision is not an enterprise SEO firm. We built our service for small and mid-size businesses, and we have no SLA, no single sign-on and no custom integrations. If you are a mid-size team with one or a few sites, we do the daily SEO work for $149 a month per site, less from the second site. This page helps you tell which one you are.

Definition

What is enterprise SEO, and what does an enterprise SEO consultant do?

Enterprise SEO is search optimization for very large sites and organizations. The jobs are the usual ones, research, content, technical health and links, but at a scale where small mistakes multiply. One faulty template can break the titles of fifty thousand product pages at once. One careless migration can wipe out years of search traffic in a week.

So the work changes shape. An enterprise SEO consultant spends less time writing pages and more time on systems: how templates, faceted navigation and internal search create pages Google should or should not crawl, how a site in many languages tells Google which version to show in which country, how a migration keeps its old addresses alive, and how server logs show what Google really crawls.

The other half of the job is people. An enterprise SEO expert writes tickets for engineering teams, wins a slot in their roadmap, trains content and product teams, agrees rules with legal and brand, and reports to executives in their own business numbers. That is why enterprise engagements are priced for senior people and long timelines.

Honest fit

Who should hire an enterprise SEO consultant instead of us

Hire an enterprise SEO consultant or a specialist firm, not us, when any of these describes you.

  • Your site has hundreds of thousands of pages, or creates pages by itself through filters, internal search or templates
  • You are planning a migration, a replatform or a merger of several sites into one
  • You publish the same site in several languages and need hreflang set up and kept correct
  • Your vendor review asks for a signed SLA, single sign-on or a custom integration with your systems
  • You need log file analysis or rendering fixes inside your own codebase
  • Several in-house teams need someone to coordinate them and sit in their planning meetings
  • Your executives want SEO reported in your BI or CRM, tied to pipeline and revenue

What large teams ask

What larger teams ask for, and what we have

The questions a mid-size or larger company usually asks before buying, answered from what the product does today.

You ask forWhat SeoVision has
Several sites in one accountUp to 20 sites in one account, each one its own project. For more, write to us
A price that drops with volume10% off every site from the second, 15% from the fifth, 20% at 20, and 20% more when you pay yearly
Team members and rolesTwo people plus one more for every paid site, you included, each as admin, editor or viewer. Every member sees every site in the account
More countriesUp to 3 extra markets per site, added by our team, in the site's main language. A second language does not publish yet
Content volume30 articles a month per site, plus 30 more for $80 a month whenever you need them
Approval before anything goes liveArticles can arrive as drafts, and every batch of technical fixes waits for your OK, with Undo
AuditsUp to 5 full audits a month per site, plus a technical scan every week
Access from your own toolsAn MCP connection for Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants, by sign-in or an API key. No public API for your systems
SupportA dedicated account manager and priority 24/7 support, with a ticket number on every request. No SLA
Single sign-onNot available. Each person signs in to their own account

On WordPress, Shopify and custom sites connected through our receiver we write the fixes on your site ourselves. On other platforms you get every fix ready to paste, with the exact steps.

Large sites

How we handle a large site, and where the ceiling is

Our full audit judges a site from its home page and a few sample pages: a product, a collection and a blog post where the site has them. It scores six areas and turns every failed check into a priced plan, but it does not walk every address of a large site.

The weekly technical scan goes further. On WordPress, Shopify and custom sites it reads the site page by page, up to a ceiling per scan, and fixes titles, descriptions, alt text, redirects, canonicals and markup in batches you approve. On a site bigger than the ceiling, the scan page tells you that some of your pages could not be read in that scan. For a site of hundreds of thousands of addresses, that ceiling is a real limit, and a crawler built for enterprise sites is the better tool.

Content works the same at any size. Each article targets one search with real demand, and before writing we check your own pages, so your pages do not compete for the same search. When your site has pages that sell, a topic that leads to none of them is left out of the plan. We do not create pages in bulk from a template, and we do not build location pages.

We publish into WordPress (through our plugin), WordPress.com, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Next.js, any custom site through our receiver, and a blog we host for you on your own domain. A headless or in-house stack connects through our receiver, which your developers set up once.

Mid-size teams

Where a mid-size team fits us

The sweet spot is a company with a marketing team of a few people, one to a handful of sites, and no SEO specialist with time for the daily work. Think of a regional manufacturer with three brand sites, a services firm with a site per country, or an online store group with several shops.

For a team like that, the math is simple. Two sites cost $134.10 a month each, five cost $126.65 each, and the work on every site is the full plan: research, 30 articles a month, technical fixes, backlinks through our exchange and AI visibility tracking with 70 prompts every week in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode.

Your marketing lead keeps control without doing the work: approving fixes, choosing whether articles go live or arrive as drafts, and telling us through Request a change when a product line or a market shifts. Our team then re-tunes the research, the plan and the prompts built on it. Selling in several countries? Our international SEO services page explains how markets work.

Integrations

MCP, APIs and integrations

We do not build custom integrations, and there is no public API to pull your keywords, reports or rankings into your own systems. What connects today is your publishing platform, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, your Google Business Profile to read, and Google Merchant Center for stores.

What we do have is an MCP server. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another assistant to your account by signing in or with an API key, then run audits, read your AI visibility, plan and draft articles and file a request to our team from the chat. A connection only sees your own account, paid and publishing actions always ask you first, and payments stay in your browser. More on our MCP connection.

A Next.js site has one more option: it reads its own published articles from our content feed with its own key, so your developers render them in your design.

How it works

How a mid-size team starts with us, step by step

Most of the setup runs on its own. Your team's part is approvals.

  1. 1

    Add your first site

Connect its platform and press Start. The audit, the market research, the content plan and the AI prompts are prepared in the background.

  2. 2

    Invite your team

Add colleagues as admins, editors or viewers. Your seats grow by one with every paid site.

  3. 3

    Add the other sites

Each site becomes its own project with its own plan, and the volume discount applies from the second one.

  4. 4

    Approve what touches each site

Pick live publishing or drafts, and approve each batch of technical fixes. Everything else runs every day, and our team checks every paying project each morning.

Compare

Enterprise SEO consultant vs an in-house team vs SeoVision

Three ways a growing company buys SEO. The right one depends far more on the size of your site and your organization than on the budget alone.

Enterprise SEO consultantIn-house SEO teamSeoVision

CostPriced for senior people, often $5,000 a month and upSalaries plus tools$149 a month per site, less with volume

The consultant's budget level is the one our SEO pricing guide gives for national and enterprise programs. Every firm quotes its own price, so compare written proposals.

Timeline

When you will see results

On a large, established site, technical fixes can show sooner, because Google already crawls the site often and the pages already have authority. New articles still need weeks to be crawled and understood, and months to earn their place on competitive searches.

With Search Console connected, each fixed page shows its clicks, impressions and position for 28 days before and after the change, so your team can judge the work on its own numbers. Nobody, a consultant, a firm or us, can promise a position on Google.

Pricing

How much enterprise SEO costs, and what we charge

SEO agencies across all fields average about $3,200 a month, according to Ahrefs' survey of 439 SEO providers, and national or enterprise programs commonly sit at $5,000 a month and up. Our plan is $149 a month per site, $126.65 each from five sites, with no contract. Want people on top of the software? The Human Curated Service adds our editors and SEO specialists, a plan for each month, a report at its end and a person you can talk to, from $5,000 a month per site. Every range is in our SEO pricing guide.

What we do not offer large organizations

We have no SLA, no single sign-on and no custom integrations, and no public API for your own systems. Every team member sees every site in the account, so there are no permissions per site. We do not connect to your CRM or BI tools, so we cannot report pipeline or revenue from SEO.

We do not run migrations or replatforms, set up hreflang or publish a second language yet, analyse server logs or change your code. We do not build websites, there are no calls in the plan, and nobody can promise a position on Google. If those are what you need, an enterprise SEO consultant is the right hire, and we would rather tell you now.

Questions

Enterprise SEO: frequently asked questions

What does enterprise SEO cost per month?

National and enterprise programs commonly cost $5,000 a month and up, and agencies average about $3,200 a month in Ahrefs' survey of 439 SEO providers. SeoVision is built for mid-size teams at $149 a month per site, with 10% off every site from the second.

What is an enterprise SEO expert?

An enterprise SEO expert is a senior specialist who manages search for a very large site or organization. Beyond research and content, they handle site architecture, crawling at scale, international setups, migrations and the work of getting several teams to ship SEO changes.

What is included in enterprise SEO?

Technical SEO at scale, content strategy across many teams, international and multi-site setups, migrations, link building, governance and executive reporting. Our plan covers the research, content, technical fixes, links and AI tracking of one site at a time, without migrations or hreflang.

How long until enterprise SEO shows results?

Technical fixes on a large, trusted site can show within weeks, while new content takes months on competitive searches. A migration done badly can cost traffic for longer, which is one reason large sites hire senior people for it. Nobody can promise a date.

Can AI tools replace enterprise SEO?

No, not the senior judgment. AI tools and services like ours do the repeatable work well: research, writing, routine fixes and checks. A migration, an international setup or getting engineering teams to ship changes still needs an experienced person.

How do I choose a provider for enterprise SEO?

Ask for work on sites of your size and complexity, a named senior person on your account, how they handle migrations and international setups, and what they need from your engineering team. Check that the contract covers the SLA, security and integrations your company requires.

Will enterprise SEO get me into ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews?

It helps, but no provider can guarantee it. AI answers lean on pages that rank and on sources the assistants trust. We track 70 prompts every week in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, and show which ones name you and who is named instead.

Do you offer an SLA or single sign-on?

No. We have no SLA and no single sign-on. Every paying project gets a dedicated account manager and priority 24/7 support, with a ticket number on every request.

Built for mid-size teams. Honest about the rest.
