Squarespace SEO Expert Work, Done for Your Site

A Squarespace SEO expert fills the gaps Squarespace's SEO panel leaves: which searches to win, the articles that win them, the fixes Google needs and the links that build trust. SeoVision does that work for Squarespace sites. Squarespace offers no way for an outside service to publish posts, so we host your blog on your own domain, such as blog.yoursite.com, with one DNS record, and publish 30 articles a month there. Every Monday we read your Squarespace pages and hand you each fix ready to paste, with the place in Squarespace it goes. One plan, $149 a month per site.

Why us

What Squarespace SEO covers, and what it leaves to you

Squarespace takes care of more than most owners realize: a secure https address, a sitemap it updates on its own, clean page addresses, and an SEO title and description for every page. Its URL mappings handle redirects, and one switch keeps a page out of search engines.

None of that tells you what to write, writes it, or notices when a page you need slips out of Google. It cannot tell you whether ChatGPT recommends you when someone asks for a business like yours, either. Those are the jobs a Squarespace SEO expert is hired for, and they need doing every week, not once at launch.

How it works

How our Squarespace SEO services publish for you

No outside service can post into your Squarespace blog automatically, because Squarespace gives outside services no way to add posts. Our answer is a blog we run on a subdomain of your own domain, such as blog.yoursite.com. You add one DNS record, and from then on we publish an article a day there.

The blog is built to feel like part of your site. It reads your logo, brand colour, browser icon and main menu links from your Squarespace home page, and its header carries a button back to your site. Each article has its SEO title, description, canonical address and structured data, the blog keeps its own sitemap, and its robots.txt welcomes Google and the AI crawlers. Our auto-publishing page shows how every article is checked once it is live.

Your Squarespace site stays exactly as it is. We never need your Squarespace login, and nothing changes there unless you paste it in yourself.

Connect

How to connect a Squarespace site

Two small jobs on your side, and no code.

  1. 1

    Pick the blog address

In SeoVision, open Integrations, choose Hosted Blog and type blog. followed by your domain, or another subdomain you prefer.

  2. 2

Add the record in Squarespace Domains

If your domain is registered with Squarespace, our guide walks you through its DNS Settings to the Custom Records form, where the one CNAME record goes. Leave Squarespace's default records alone, since removing them disconnects your site. A domain held elsewhere gets its own guide.

  3. 3

    We open the blog

We check the record every 15 minutes and issue the https certificate ourselves. Nothing is published until the blog opens.

  4. 4

    Add it to your navigation

Add a link to the blog in your Squarespace navigation, so visitors and Google reach it from every page.

Fixes

Squarespace SEO problems we find, with the fix ready to paste

Each Monday our scan reads up to 500 of your pages the way visitors get them. Every finding comes with the text or code to copy and the exact place in Squarespace. The rules behind it are on our technical SEO services page.

  • Pages with an empty, repeated, too long or too short title or description, with new text for «SEO title» and «SEO description» under Pages, the page's gear icon, SEO
  • A page you need that is hidden from search, with the switch «Hide page from search engine results» to turn off
  • Missing business, website or breadcrumb markup, or FAQ markup for questions already on a page, with the JSON-LD block to paste into «Page header code injection» in the page's Advanced settings
  • Images without alt text, with a description to type into the image's settings
  • Broken addresses Google still shows, found through your Search Console, each as a ready line for Settings, Developer tools, «URL mappings»
  • A wrong canonical address, with the words to send Squarespace support, since Squarespace sets canonicals itself and gives you no field for them
  • No llms.txt for AI assistants, with its text and the plain advice to skip it if Squarespace cannot serve the file
  • robots.txt and sitemap findings, as to-dos that explain what to change

Who does the work

What to expect from a Squarespace SEO expert, and how to choose one

A Squarespace SEO consultant usually reviews your site, fills in your SEO settings, sets up Google Search Console and hands over a list. Expect a one-off fee or an hourly rate: freelance SEO specialists commonly charge $100 to $150 an hour, according to Ahrefs' survey of 439 SEO providers. Some Squarespace designers include SEO setup with a new site.

Setup is a start, not a strategy. What moves a site over months is a steady flow of useful pages, clean fixes and links, plus a check of how AI assistants describe you. That is where our Squarespace SEO services come in: the research, an article a day, the weekly scan and AI visibility tracking, with our team checking every paying site each morning, a dedicated account manager and priority 24/7 support.

How to choose the right Squarespace SEO expert: ask what they deliver each month after setup, how their content reaches your site when Squarespace takes no outside posts, where their links come from, and where you will see results. Be wary of anyone who promises a first-page position.

Webflow

Webflow SEO expert work, published to your Webflow CMS

Webflow is different from Squarespace: it has a CMS we publish into directly. If your site runs on Webflow, you create a site API token with CMS, Sites and Assets access, pick the site and the collection your blog posts live in, and match our article fields to yours. We pre-match them, and only the title, slug and post content are required.

Each article arrives as a collection item, live or as a draft, with its cover image saved to your Webflow assets and, when you map them, its summary, author, publish date, SEO title and meta description. If your collection has no SEO fields, we can add «SEO Title» and «Meta Description» fields for you. One step stays in Webflow: on the collection's template page, set the title tag and meta description to those fields in its SEO settings, then publish. If you edit one of our posts in Webflow, we see the change before any update and keep your version.

Two things do not reach Webflow from us: our article markup, because Webflow's rich text strips code, and technical fixes. Our weekly scan reads your Webflow pages and hands you each fix ready to paste, with its place in Webflow, such as a page's SEO settings, its custom code or the site's 301 redirects.

What we do not do on Squarespace

We cannot publish into your Squarespace blog or write anything into your Squarespace site, because Squarespace gives outside services no way to add posts or change pages. Your articles live on a subdomain such as blog.yoursite.com, not inside your Squarespace pages, and every technical fix is yours to paste. Squarespace sets canonical addresses itself, so for those we can only give you the words to send its support.

We do not design Squarespace sites, change templates or fix load speed and the mobile layout, which depend on Squarespace and your template. We do not promise rankings. If you want a new Squarespace design, a Squarespace designer is the better hire.

Questions

Squarespace SEO: frequently asked questions

What does Squarespace SEO cost per month?

Freelance SEO specialists commonly charge $100 to $150 an hour, and the most common monthly retainer is $501 to $1,000, according to Ahrefs' survey of 439 SEO providers. SeoVision is $149 a month per site, with the hosted blog, 30 articles, the weekly scan, backlinks and AI tracking included.

How long until Squarespace SEO shows results?

Count in months. A fix you paste works once Google visits the page again, which takes days to weeks, and a new blog's first articles tend to show for narrow searches before broad ones. Nobody honest can promise a position.

What is included in Squarespace SEO?

Keyword and competitor research, a blog on your own domain with 30 articles a month, a weekly scan of your Squarespace site with every fix ready to paste, backlinks from real business sites and AI visibility tracking.

Can AI tools replace Squarespace SEO?

Not on their own. An AI tool can draft a post, but it cannot publish to a site that takes no outside posts, scan your pages each week or tell you whether ChatGPT names you. We use AI for the writing and run the rest around it.

How do I choose a provider for Squarespace SEO?

Choose one that explains how its content reaches a Squarespace site, shows what it delivers each month after setup, says where its links come from and never promises rankings.

Will Squarespace SEO get me into ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews?

Nobody can promise it. Clear answers to your buyers' questions, clean markup and mentions on other sites help. Every week we put 70 buyer questions to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, and you see which answers name you and which name a competitor.

Can you publish into my existing Squarespace blog?

No. Squarespace gives outside services no way to add posts, so we publish on a blog we host on a subdomain of your domain. Your existing Squarespace blog stays as it is, and you can link the two.

Do you work with Webflow too?

Yes. On Webflow we publish straight into your CMS collection with a site API token, and technical fixes come ready to paste, as on Squarespace.
