Off-Page SEO Services for Links, Mentions and Listings
Off-page SEO services build what other websites say about you: links to your pages, mentions of your brand, listings in directories and coverage in the news. Search engines and AI assistants read those signals to decide how far to trust a site. With SeoVision, links from real business sites come with the plan through our exchange, with 90 credits a month, and press releases, directory listings and local citations are add-ons you buy once. We also measure the result: which AI answers name you, and what Google shows when people search your name. One plan, $149 a month per site.

The basics
What off-page SEO is and why it is important in 2026
Off-page SEO is everything that happens away from your own site and still shapes how you rank. A link from another site, your business listed in a directory, a press release on a news site, your brand named in a forum or a review. None of it lives on your pages, and all of it tells search engines whether other people vouch for you.
Why is off-page SEO important? Because a page can be perfect and still lose to a weaker page that more trusted sites point to. Google has used links as a signal of trust since its first days, and it still reads them on competitive searches. Consistent listings help it confirm that a business is real and where it is.
In 2026 there is a second reader. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews build their answers from pages that rank and from the sources they trust, and they name the brands those sources name. A business that other sites rarely mention is easy for an assistant to leave out. Off-site SEO services used to be only about links. Today they are about being mentioned in the places both readers look.
Two halves
On-page SEO vs off-page SEO
SEO has two halves that work together. This is what each one covers.
| On-page SEO | Off-page SEO | |
|---|---|---|
| Where it happens | On your own pages | On other sites, directories, news sites and AI answers |
| What it covers | Titles, headings, content, schema, internal links | Backlinks, brand mentions, listings, press coverage |
| What it tells search engines | What the page is about and who it is for | How much other people trust the site |
| Who controls it | You, fully | Partly you, mostly other site owners |
| How fast it changes | A fix is live in minutes | Links and listings build over weeks and months |
| With SeoVision | Fixes after your OK, or ready to paste on builders we cannot write to, and every article built right | Exchange links in the plan, PR and listings as add-ons |

Links
Backlinks: the exchange in your plan
The core of our off-page SEO is the backlink exchange. Every site on the plan gets 90 credits a month to spend on links from other SeoVision members, real businesses with working websites. Each link sits inside an article written for the host site's readers, on its own topic, and links move in three-way chains or one way, never as a swap between two sites. Hosting a partner's link earns you more credits.
The matcher looks in your niche first, keeps a site you track as a competitor away from you, and uses your brand name or domain as the link text unless you choose your own. Every link is checked on the live page every hour, and each one is listed on your Earned Backlinks page with its site, its day and its article.
That is all we say about the exchange here. The rules behind each link, why they keep your site clear of what Google goes after, and how credits are earned are on our pages about link building services and backlink safety.
Beyond links
Off-site SEO services beyond the exchange
Some signals the exchange cannot reach. These add-ons fill the gaps, each paid once, each with a report of every place it appears.
PR News
Our AI writes a press release from your news, you change it until you like it and pay for the version you approve. It is published on 500+ news sites, among them local TV and radio station sites. $149 to $699.
Local Citations
Your business listed the same way in 15, 30, 50 or 100 local directories picked for your country and category, in 20 countries. For a business people visit or one that serves an area. $144 to $960.
Online Directory Submission
For online businesses: SaaS products, AI tools, online stores and launches, listed in hand-picked directories, with a live link to each listing. Not for a local business. $299 to $1,199.
Backlink Marketplace
An article with your dofollow link on a real site with traffic. You pick the sites by country, topic, traffic and rating, read each article before it goes live and see every price before you pay.
Read before you buy
Press releases and paid links: what each one really does
A press release puts your brand's name on news sites that search engines and AI assistants read, and it gives you real ยซas seen onยป names for your own site. It is your release, published in their press release section, not an article a journalist wrote about you, and we never say otherwise. The links inside press releases are nofollow, and many of the copies do not show in Google, so buy it for the mention, not for a ranking jump.
The Backlink Marketplace sells paid articles on outside sites. Every site in it has a domain at least six years old, at least 5,000 visitors a month from search, a few topics rather than everything, and keeps its articles up for at least 12 months. Sites where anyone can post a page, and adult or gambling sites, are left out. Still, Google asks that paid links are marked as paid, so no paid link is free of risk. We keep it small and leave the choice to you: a few links from relevant sites with real readers, added over time.
What we do not sell is the rest of the market: hundreds of links overnight, private blog networks, link swaps or footer links on unrelated sites. If a provider offers those as off-page SEO services, walk away.
AI answers
Brand mentions in AI answers, measured every week
Off-page work is only worth what it changes, and in 2026 that includes what AI assistants say. Every week we ask 70 questions your buyers ask in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, and read each answer for three things: whether it names you, which competitors it names instead and which sources it cites.
The cited sources are the useful part for off-page SEO. They show which review sites, directories, publications and blogs the assistants lean on in your field. If the same three directories keep appearing in answers that leave you out, you know where a listing is worth having. More on how we track it in AI visibility tracking.
Your name in Google
What Google shows when people search your name
Before people buy, many of them search your brand with ยซreviewsยป or ยซlegitยป. What they find there is off-page SEO too, and most businesses never look.
Once a month we read Google's first page for those two searches in your main market and language, and show the result on your Monthly Report. For each of the first ten results you see whether it is your own site, another site that carries your name, or a result that may be negative because it sits on a complaint site or uses a complaint word. It is a hint, not a verdict: open the page to see what it really says. With Search Console connected, the card also shows how many clicks searches with your name brought in the 28 days before the check.
How it works
How we do it, step by step
The exchange and the measuring run on their own. The add-ons wait for your choice.
- 1
We read your link profile
Your audit checks your Domain Rating, the sites that link to you and how varied they are, so you start from real numbers.
- 2
Your site joins the exchange
We profile its niche, market and strength, and the matcher starts looking for partners that fit.
- 3
Links arrive at a steady pace
Your 90 monthly credits, plus the ones you earn by hosting, buy links from other members' articles.
- 4
You add what the exchange cannot reach
Press releases, local citations, online directories or paid placements, each bought once from your dashboard.
- 5
We measure what changed
AI answers every week, your brand searches every month and your link profile in every audit.
Your dashboard
What you see in your dashboard
Every off-page result is a live page you can open, not a screenshot in a report.
- Every link you received and every link you host, with its site, day and article
- Each link's live status from the hourly check
- Every press release, listing and paid placement, with a live link to each place it appears
- Listings that need your answer, such as a directory's confirmation email, marked ยซNeeds youยป
- Which AI answers name you, who is named instead and which sources they cite
- What Google shows for your name each month, with any result that may be negative flagged
- Your Domain Rating and referring domains in every audit, up to 5 a month
Who does the work
An off-page SEO specialist, or a system that does the work?
A typical off-page SEO specialist or off-page SEO expert finds sites in your field, writes to their owners, negotiates guest posts and submits your business to directories by hand, then sends a report. It can work, and it is slow, usually billed by the hour or by the link.
We do it differently. The exchange matches you with real business sites and writes the articles itself. Listings and press releases go out through our partners, and every place they appear is recorded in your order. Behind it, our team checks every paying project each morning, and you get a dedicated account manager and priority 24/7 support as part of the plan.
If you want people working on your project every month, the Human Curated Service adds them on top: SEO specialists and editors who place keywords, polish your content and check your titles, with a plan for each month and a report at its end, from $5,000 a month. It is about your content more than your links, and you can cancel it any time.

With us the exchange and the measuring come with the plan, $149 a month per site, with no fee per link. Press releases, citations and directory listings below are paid once. Timeline
When you will see results from off-page SEO
Off-page SEO builds slowly on purpose. Exchange links arrive week by week, at the pace a growing business earns them. A press release usually goes live 1 to 3 days after the news editors accept it. Local citations take 2 to 6 weeks, because each directory reviews new listings at its own pace, and a paid placement usually takes 2 to 4 weeks from payment to a live article.
After a link or a listing goes live, Google has to find the page it sits on before it counts. The effect on rankings shows over months and depends on your site, your field and the rest of your SEO, which is why the off-page work runs next to your articles and technical fixes. AI answers tend to follow the pages that rank and the sources they trust, so they usually move later still.
Nobody outside Google can promise how it weighs a link or a mention, and an off-page SEO provider that promises rankings is guessing. What you can check is every link, every listing and every answer, week after week, in your dashboard. Our on-page SEO services cover the other half.
What our off-page SEO does not do
We do not do cold outreach, pitch guest posts to journalists or bloggers, or buy links in bulk from networks. We do not post on social media for you, manage your reviews or edit your Google Business Profile. If you want a classic outreach or digital PR campaign run by people who email editors every day, an agency that sells that fits better.
Exchange partners are other SeoVision customers, and the network is still growing. On the trial, links to your site start once your plan begins, and the add-ons open after your first payment. A press release earns mentions more than links, and no paid link is free of risk. We do not promise rankings.
Questions
Off-page SEO services: frequently asked questions
What are some effective off-page SEO techniques for 2026?
Earn links from relevant, real sites, keep your business details the same in every directory, put real news in front of news sites and get mentioned where AI assistants look for sources. Then measure it: check that links stay live and read what AI answers say about you each week.
What does off-page SEO services cost per month?
Off-page work is often priced per link or inside a retainer, most commonly $501 to $1,000 a month according to Ahrefs. With us exchange links and the measuring come with the plan at $149 a month per site. Press releases, citations and directories are one-time add-ons.
How long until off-page SEO services shows results?
Links and listings go live over days to weeks, and Google needs time to find them. The effect on rankings usually shows over months. AI answers tend to move after rankings. Nobody can promise a date or a position.
What is included in off-page SEO services?
Ours include links from real business sites with 90 exchange credits a month, AI visibility tracking, a monthly read of your brand searches and your link profile in every audit. Press releases, local citations, online directories and paid placements are add-ons.
What is the difference between on-page and off-page SEO?
On-page SEO is what you change on your own pages: titles, headings, content, schema and internal links. Off-page SEO is what other sites say about you: links, mentions, listings and press. You need both, and we work on both.
What is the role of an SEO specialist?
An SEO specialist finds what buyers search, makes the site easy for search engines to read, plans content and builds links and mentions. Off-page specialists focus on the last part. With us software does the daily work and your account manager watches your project.
Is SEO the same as CEO?
No. SEO stands for search engine optimization, the work of getting a site found in search engines. A CEO is a chief executive officer, the person who runs a company. The two words just sound alike.
